RETURN POLICY

We are happy to help you with a return if you reach out within 30-days of your delivery date and your item has not been used! If wrap/package is no longer intact, but the product has not been used we are able to thoroughly review and accept returns on the product!

Please reach out to support@yomiplatinum.com or click the chat to begin the return or exchange process. We accept returns by the date you reach out, so if one of our team members does not contact you until after 30 days, do not worry, we will still help you out!

Once your return has been processed by our fulfillment center, we will refund you for the returned item(s) minus the cost of the original shipping to your original method of payment. All refund recipients will receive an email confirmation for their records.

EXCHANGE POLICY

At Yomi Platinum, we would love to help get you the product that is right for you! We are able to do exchange on products that are eligible for returns (within 30 days of delivery and unused). The process will begin as a return but once the return is on its way back to us, proven by the tracking updates, we can begin the exchange process.

Please note, you will be responsible for the shipping of the exchanged item unless proven that it was an internal error from us. We will refund you or send you an invoice depending on the price difference between your original product and the one you are hoping to exchange. Once the invoice has been paid we will ship out your exchanged order!

WATCH REPAIR POLICY

1.The undersigned is the lawful owner of the timepiece and/or jewelry (“Item”) left in the possession of Fix Time LLC for repair; the Item is, to the best of the knowledge, information and belief of the undersigned, is not a counterfeit; that the Item is in need of repair to an extent and degree not specifically known to the undersigned at the time of the transfer of possession of the Item by the undersigned to Fix Time,

2.The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that any Item dropped off or shipped by the undersigned of the agent of the undersigned with Yomi Platinum are in need of repair and Fix Time is not responsible for the condition of the Item at the time of the presentment of the Item to Yomi Platinum; that Yomi Platinum’s technicians will examine each such timepiece after repair and notations will be made if issue(s) with the Item are identified and communicated directly with the undersigned at the time of in-person drop-off of the Item(s) or by email if the timepiece(s) are shipped to Yomi Platinum Service Center.

3.All repair and restoration work for a timepiece or jewelry Item which exceeds in cost the sum of $1000 requires the undersigned to provide Yomi Platinum a certificate of ownership or by providing a signed acknowledgement of ownership from the undersigned to Yomi Platinum Repair Service.

4.Yomi Platinum is not responsible for damage caused to Item after the undersigned recaptures possession of the item following repair of same by Yomi Platinum.

5.Any claim arising out of, pertaining to or touching upon the Item shall be brought solely in the (“Court of Competent Jurisdiction”). A strict condition precedent to the filing of any such claim shall be the good faith participation by the undersigned in a confidential, non-binding mediation conducted by a mutually agreed upon mediation or, in the absence of any such agreement, such mediator as shall be appointed by the then presiding judge of the Court of Competent Jurisdiction.

6.In the event the undersigned makes a claim or sues Yomi Platinum in connection with the Item, the undersigned acknowledges that legal damages shall be limited to the lesser of the fair market value of the Item.

7.In the event suit is filed against Yomi Platinum by the undersigned and Yomi Platinum prevails in such legal action, Yomi Platinum shall be entitled to recover from the undersigned the legal fees, costs and expenses incurred in defending said suit.

Online Repair Form

In order to ensure service, the customer must agree to the terms and conditions stated on this site. The customer must fill out the online repair form available on our site at www.yomiplatinum.com/watch-repair-services/ and include with each watch sent. Best Limit one watch per repair form. We are not responsible for shipping and handling charges or for any damages or harm done to a watch during shipping. For special care instructions, special brands, or replica watches, please contact our customer service to discuss before proceeding.

Shipment Procedure

If the job estimate is not approved:
If work is not performed, the customer will be obligated to pay return shipping and insurance (a flat rate of N3,000).
If the job estimate is approved:
If we agree on a job, return shipping is covered by us (Domestic addresses only).
Your finished watch will be returned to you via Local Courier services, UPS, FedEx, or other Postal Service with Adult Signature Required and insured for the value that the customer specified in the watch repair form.
We are not liable for watches that are lost, stolen or damaged during shipment to our facilities. In the unlikely event that a watch is lost, stolen or damaged from our facilities, we cannot refund the cost of repair.
Watch Technicians carefully documents the condition of each watch upon arrival and departure for our records to ensure quality and to cover any liability of our workers.

Shipment Procedure

By sending item(s) for repair, customer agrees that Yomi Platinum, its agents and representatives are accepting the item(s) solely for the purpose of repair. They shall not be responsible for loss, damage, or theft of the item(s) unless due to their sole negligence. Any damage or loss due to their sole negligence will be limited to the actual cost to repair or replace the item(s) of comparable value and is not to exceed the sum of $75.00 or such higher value as may be declared by customer in writing in advance. In no event will they be liable for other damages, including loss of use, or other incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to customer.

Limited Warranty and Exclusions 3-Month Warranty on Vintage Watches

All vintage watches repaired by our Watch Technicians are covered by a 3-month limited warranty, beginning from the official repair completion date. Should you experience problems related to the repair done by our Watch Technicians, you will need to return the watch to us so we can analyze and fix the problem.
The warranty only covers faulty repair or problems occurring as a result of the repair. It does not cover problems caused by normal wear and tear or by negligence on the part of the owner or if the owner opens, tampers with, or takes apart the watch.

6-Months Warranty on Modern Watches

  • electrical components.
  • winding and setting parts
  • balance staff
  • water damage, unless we have pressure certified the watch during the repair.

All modern watches repaired by our Watch Technicians are covered by a 6-months limited warranty, beginning from the official repair completion date. Should you experience problems related to the repair done by Watch Technicians, you will need to return the watch to us so we can analyze and fix the problem.
The warranty only covers faulty repair or problems occurring as a result of the repair. It does not cover problems caused by normal wear and tear or by negligence on the part of the owner or if the owner opens, tampers with, or takes apart the watch.
Not covered by warranty:

Exclusions of Warranty – The following are not covered under any warranty:

  • electrical components.
  • winding and setting parts
  • balance staff
  • water damage, unless we have pressure certified the watch during the repair.
  • Damage from Abuse, Neglect, Modification, Shock.
  • Water Damage.
  • Watch Bracelets and Watch Bands
  • Crystals
  • Crowns and Stems
  • Balance Staffs
  • Parts not replaced by Watch Technicians
  • Repairs made by anyone other than Yomi Platinum Repair Center, opening of the watch by anyone other than our Watch Technicians
  • Labor
  • Damage caused by defective parts.

Water Resistance – We may pressure test your watch if that service is purchased and will verify that your watch passed the ISO standards for your watch before it has left Watch Technicians. We cannot guarantee water resistance after it leaves because we have no control over what might happen to the watch once it leaves Watch Technicians

What NOT to do With Your Watch – Doing any of the following will void your limited warranty and may severely damage your watch:

  • Expose your watch to oils or solvents.
  • Expose your watch to chemicals like Chlorine for pools and any other chemical.
  • Shower with your watch on. Do not expose your watch to soapy, hot, high pressure water
  • Wear your watch in a Hot Tub
  • Wear your watch in a Sauna
  • Leave your watch in the pocket of your clothes and then wash/dry your clothes.
  • Run over the watch with your car.
  • Leave the screw down crown unscrewed and then submerse the watch in any liquid.
  • Operate any push buttons under water or when the watch is wet.
  • Operate the crown on your watch while it is under water or wet.
  • Try to open the watch to see what was done or what is wrong.
  • Have a different company or watchmaker open your watch to see what is wrong or what was done.
  • Subject your watch to extreme hard vibrations like when you pull start a chainsaw or lawn mower or any other kind of sudden hard shock.
  • Note, that not even the original manufacturer will warranty your watch in any of these instances.

Cases Where Full Repair and Accuracy is Not Possible

There are certain cases that, even after everything is properly repaired by Watch Technicians, your watch may not be able to be regulated with a high level of accuracy. This is especially true with vintage watches, watches that have been neglected, severely damaged, or improperly repaired by another person or service, or not been properly kept or serviced prior to sending to Watch Technicians In this case, Watch Technicians will work with you to get the best possible results, so long as you’re willing to work with us.
All warranties are specified by the level of service you pay for, the condition of the watch, and the specifics that the watchmaker states in your emailed estimate. There are times when a watch can no longer be sealed for water resistance. When this is determined we will notify you either at the time the estimate is given or when the problem shows itself.

If a Problem Develops During the Warranty Period the Customer Must Contact Yomi Platinum Repair Center Within 24 Hours to Notify us of the Problem.

To notify our Watch Technicians the customer must submit a Contact form. Failure to do this voids the warranty. After notifying us the watch then must be sent in for warranty repair as soon as is indicated by Watch Technicians. Failure to send the watch back within the specified time will void the warranty.
This warranty is only for the original repair service and does not extend past any warranty work performed. No further warranty is given after warranty repair is performed.

No Refunds Will be Given. No Re-Purchaser is Responsible for Shipping Charges in Both Directions.

No Other Warranties are Implied. Watch Technicians will not Honor any Verbal Warranties Implied or Expressed by its Employees. This Warranty is Subject to Change Without Notice.

Your Complete Warranty will be Provided When Your Watch is Returned to You. The Warranty on Your Specific Watch May Have Restrictions or Modifications Depending on Your Watch. The Warranty Provided with Your Watch Supersedes the Above Warranty.
